Easts Winter Chess Challenge 2010

Date: Monday, 26 July – Monday, 20 September

Venue: Eastern Suburbs Leagues Club, 93-97 Spring Street, Bondi Junction.

 

Tournament: The event will be a 9 round Swiss tournament played on consecutive Monday evenings in two sections, Open and under 1700, commencing at 7.30 p.m.

 

Time Limit: 40 moves in 90 minutes, an additional 30 minutes is then added, followed by 10 second increments to finish the game.

 

Entries: pre-registration is crucial to ensure a smooth event and the booking of the venue please contact the DOP by emailing to vlad@chessmasters.com.au

 

Entries close at 7:15pm on Monday, 26 July

 

Fees:  $35 Easts Chess Club Members

(Membership costs $35 annually)

$45 Non-Member

$20 Juniors (Under 18)

 

Prizes:

Open: 1st - $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100

      Under 1700: 1st - $200, 2nd $120, 3rd $80

 

Please note that prizes are subject to change and are based on an estimated 40 participants.
