East Sydney Summer Chess Challenge 2012
Date: Thursday, 2 February - Thursday, 29 March
Venue: Club Bondi Junction, 1-9 Gray Street, Bondi Junction.
Tournament: The event will be a 9 round Swiss tournament played on consecutive Thursday evenings, commencing at 7.30 p.m.
Time Limit: 40 moves in 90 minutes, an additional 30 minutes is then added, followed by 10 second increments to finish the game.
Entries: pre-registration is crucial to ensure a smooth event and the booking of the venue please contact the DOP by emailing to vlad@chessmasters.com.au
Entries close at 7:15pm on Thursday, 2 February
Fees: $35 East Sydney Chess Club Members
(Membership costs $20 annually)
$45 Non-Member
$20 Juniors (Under 18)
Prizes:
Open: 1st - $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $120
Rating divisions: 1st - $100, 2nd $80
Please note that prizes are subject to change and are based on an estimated 40 participants. Players will only be eligible for one prize.
